Cardboard Vampyres have been joined by Eric Dover (ALICE COOPER, JELLYFISH, SLASH'S SNAKEPIT, SEXTUS) on lead vocals and Bevan Davies (DANZIG, COMES WITH THE FALL) on drums.

CARDBOARD VAMPYRES play songs from both ALICE IN CHAINS and THE CULT, as well as covers of tunes by artists like BLACK SABBATH, LED ZEPPELIN, METALLICA, and others. As of yet, there are no plans for the group to write or record any original material.

Cantrell is currently recording new music at Doug Fieger's (THE KNACK!) studio in Los Angeles. He is joined in the studio by Chris Wyse on bass and Stephen Perkins on drums (both ex-JANE'S ADDICTION). Cantrell's new tunes are said to be sounding "amazing," with one track reportedly featuring Doug Fieger on slide guitar.

Cantrell will be presenting and performing at the MusiCares/MAP Fund benefit concert honoring Dave Navarro and Goldenvoice on May 20 at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, California. Playing along with Cantrell will be Navarro, Perkins and Wyse.

CEOJC just confirmed it in the announcements section.

Now all they need is an extra bass player :wink:

Bevan & Danzig parted ways in January ~ or as we say: Bevan's got his mega watt smile back again.....comes with the fall just finished recording their new music, in the beginning of May......they have enough for a double album, this time :D ....we may even get lucky & see them out touring in support of that, in 2006......

......the whole Cardboard Vampyre situation is temporary......Jerry has another band he's working with on his solo stuff.....

.......however, Bevan is available for the remainder of 2005, since William has touring obligations to Tolcher thru August, if not longer.....and that puts their band comes with the fall on hold......I have no idea why Josh isn't around this summer, or anything relating to Josh ~ I just know that Bevan was available & so he steps in for the summer shows.......

That was totally planned :D yet impossible to pick just one, since there's a bunch of him with 2 different CWTF shirts on.....I went for the action shot 8)
