For the people who didnt get tickets, if youre close enough id go anyway because a lot of people had a lot of luck for the last few shows by just going.. in boston one kid came and got offered a ticket for 150 and he was like fuck that and we all told him to just take it for 150 cause hes not gonna get it any cheaper..and he ended up getting offered one for under 100... and then for the NY show a lot of people had luck.. i regret not going to that one and just trying..anyhoot you guys already know all this but yea ill see some of you guys there

Re: The Official Sayreville Show Thread

Yeah, no luck. At all. I got to my Ticketmaster outlet and I was the third in line. I could have hopped in with some other nice people, but they were only able to get 4 for themselves. The people ahead of them got 6.

It was sold out by 12:01.

I'm distraught. I was really banking my whole summer on going to this show. I'm going to 4 other concerts and I'd give all those up just to go to this one.

(If any of you who post here went to the Ticketmaster outlet in the Freehold mall, I was the girl in the Aerosmith shirt and glasses- looking like a mess because I was on the way to the gym! Haha.)

Fucking hell. I'll just keep on trying. And yeah, like someone else said here, the weather really matches my mood...

I'm assuming AIC.com is going to have another ticket giveaway like they did for the U.S club dates. But what's the likelyhood ANY of us will win that?

Pigs will fly and Elvis will come back from the dead before any of us wins that.

    HA

they didnt even announced who won the last one!!!

    it's a joke. it's all a fucking joke.

and i shouldnt be complaining b/c i've seen them twice in the last six months, but what can i say, i'm selfish i guess

Come to think of it, you're right, I never heard who won that thing. I know it wasn't me.

Ya know, I'm upset, but if Layne were still with us, I'd be at a new level of PISSED OFF because I can't get a fuckin' ticket.

If only I was rich, I'd buy everyone on this board a ticket to the show.

    ~*~ Le Sigh ~*~

Least I know I won't have to put up with this 'We don't want YOU to get a ticket' bullshit when I go to the Layne tribute next year.

this wouldn't happen if Layne were here because they'd be selling out ARENAS and not clubs... there would be 15-20,000 tix available instead of 500-2000.

This wouldn't happen if Layne were here because I'd beg him to put me on his V.I.P list like he did other people :P

Obviously there is high demand for AIC tickets. I mean, hello......THEY'VE BEEN AWAY FOR A DECADE AND WE'VE MISSED THEMMMMMMM!!! They should be playing bigger arenas but nooooo...they're scheduled to play a string of Friendly's restaurants across the country.

Re: The Official Sayreville Show Thread

You know, I sincerely hope no one buys those tickets on eBay. It would just be nice if people would just once not indulge the scalpers, no matter how much they want to go to the show. It would be even better if eBay actually ENFORCED the laws to prevent reselling tickets for more than their face value.

It's such a completely different mentality those people have. For example, I had an extra ticket to the Amazing Journey concert I went to the other day. When we got there, we learned it was sold out and there was a line outside trying to get in. I unloaded the extra ticket for $40 which was within cents of the face value, and I didn't think twice about it. The guy who bought it was about to pay $100 for it, but I didn't even consider it. I didn't "auction it off," I just sold it at face value to the first person in line.

    Scalpers always win.

Next year's, I WAS going to go this year but come to find out you have to be 21 to get into the club they are holding it at. I'll be 20 at the time of the show. Plus waiting for next year is better, more time to save money. Do you plan on going to a show one year?
