i used to have the ce-5 and could get a good "rooster" clean tone. i mean you could probably use any chorus pedal with a nice clean amp channel and achieve a similar tone. it wont be perfect though, i mean you can kinda hear a swirly kinda sound going on or maybe im just crazy. Try the chorus and adjust your reverb knob accordingly. if i remember correctly i used to set mine: level=3 oclock rate=1 oclock depth=full high=11 oclock and the bass i think i used to have at full to sound nice and thick. good luck.
