Re: William DuVall appreciation thread
Woo..Mother Nature on a roll! :D
To those who've actually taken the time to go to the site and listen...I thank you! If CWTF isn't your cup of tea, no sweat. I'm just happy you listened! :D That's a helluva lot more than most of the haters have done.

Re: William DuVall appreciation thread
Nature, I agree with everything you said in this thread. I saw William 12X in 2002 on the Cantrell solo tour and he was impressive doing the AIC tunes like Down in a Hole and MITB. And yes he has taken it deeper. After seeing him in Boston monday he did a fantastic job on songs like Junkhead, Dam that River, Dirt, We Die Young and all the others.

From the sounds of things (the past couple of shows), I think he's actually starting to have fun with this...finally......and with that new confidence, it'll only just get better & better
I may just have to quit my life & run off to follow them around next fall   8)

That'll never happen.....but we're cool just with seeing it pop up ANYWHERE....
And if he has the time, meaning if he's not suppose to be somewhere right away, you will ALWAYS find him available to talk to....he loves the people, for this band, his band, any band......so go say hi to him, if you see him
And ya know what? He WANTS YOU TO SING LOUDER THAN HE DOES  they all do
They all dare ya to

Re: William DuVall appreciation thread
I'll say this about William, he looked like he was having the most fun of anyone in the whole place. I saw him standing next to the stage jamming and supporting the shitty opening band. William was really into the whole show.

Best way to find him in a crowd
William can relate to opening bands, just not the "shitty" part 8) so yeah, he's gonna be out there at least checking them out....
He is having way to much fun, but ya know what, he fucking deserves it  They all do

Re: William DuVall appreciation thread
In NYC he looked like he was in the band from day 1. He owned the stage.

.....maybe this time around, but he knows AIC isn't "his" band....which is why he's going those extra steps to make it all the more better, to do it justice.....for Layne as well as the other 3.....most singers would get up there and showboat themselves, not gonna happen with William  ....however off stage, every other word is gonna be CWTF to anyone who will listen, to anyone who wants to know.....in fact he'll talk your ears off, if he's got enough time to...

Re: William DuVall appreciation thread
BTW, I keep forgetting to remind you showgoers, if you're on the CWTF board or have been on their Myspace page & you find yourself in front of William, be sure to mention what your online name is...otherwise he's not gonna make the connection as to who you are.....
And if you've written him, anywhere (website, email or Myspace) keep in mind it's nearly impossible for him to answer as quickly as he has been doing up until lately
