Had a good listen to it now.. Good quality recording, and I'm glad our singing efforts came across well. AIC singalongs rock. The 'ooo-oo's on Again were especially fun.

I really liked everyone singing on Rain When I Die.
It was definitely the best gig of the year for me.

Indeed! And even though I've got gigs lined up this year for bands that are consistently superb live (Primal Scream, probably the Wildhearts), I don't think anything could top that.

Hrm. I wish rock clubs played AIC more.

The Wildhearts are a band that I have always kind of fancied seeing but never really made the effort for. I should change that.

Definitely! Impressed you've heard of them, actually..

They're consistently fantastic live, and the fans are lovely. Rumour has it there may be a new album/tour out later in the year. And if that doesn't happen, Ginger's solo stuff is great anyway.

In fact, I'm almost 100% certain that they were playing The Astoria the night I went to see Jerry solo at The Mean Fiddler.

Yeah, and they've been splitting up and getting back together for forever and a day, bless 'em. *grin*

And aye, good memory! And I was at neither of them.. bah. I was a poverty-stricken student back then, which probably explains that. :/
