William's awesome. I haven't heard a lot of CWTF stuff, only a little bit, but I got to hear him in Atlantic City, and he was damn good. He's up there, not being a Layne clone, but being himself---and that's very important. 8)

I think Williams doing great. The San Diego show was near flawless. William did a great job singing the Alice songs. But I think my friend that went with me, who doesnt know much about the rivalry between william and other singers, said something I think summed it up pretty well. He said William did a great job but watching the show it was as if William wasnt part of the band. He was singing with the band but wasnt part of it. He then said that when Pat came out he didnt sing as well as William but his presence just felt like he belonged with the band. With Pat singing it felt like AIC minus Layne, with William singing it felt like AIC minus Layne, plus William. I think I pretty much agree.

.....For all the flipping out I've been doing over the last couple of months, William kept saying "You wait, you'll see. They'll figure it out once the shows begin. There won't be much that the haters can say after people start seeing the shows.".....but I am impatient....& I am that way because I have seen so many Cantrell solo shows with William over the last years, I'm like "Where were all these people back then? Did they not see any of those shows?" ~ but I have a pile of audios here from the recent shows, and yeah, he's taken it a lot of steps deeper this time....

This is only temporary....for real....if ya get to meet him at any of these shows, it won't be long before he's talking CWTF with ya......the reason he took this on was to further the COMES WITH THE FALL cause, and Jerry has been one of their biggest supporters all along.....

I dunno how long even the AIC guys plan on doing this....so catch it while you can.....and if ya really want to know William click on the link in my sig....

Yea CWTF is awesome to. I doubt William would leave it to join AIC. It's temporary and thats alright. I'm sure he did it because he loves AIC and Jerry and to get some more exposure for CWTF.

For those of you who haven't checked into CWTF yet, they're on their soon to be released 4 th cd...all of which were done entirely by William as far as funding & production.....For those who think this is some mickey mouse band: CWTF music is now in over 18 countries, they've been in Rolling Stone, Jerry brought them into Guitar World, CWTF got their own spot on the Sex & Rock N Roll site when the interviewers were there to catch Jerry & discovered CWTF in the process, they've been on XM Radio multiple times, they've continuously sold merch for the past 4 years ~ whether you've heard of them or not....I think William probably knows more famous people thruout all the years he's been in the business than you can name & all of them speak highly of him & some of his bands he's been in.....

He "won't let me" get into some of his past history, he says there's enough to talk about now & in the future, and that it's about CWTF not just one person....but Foof, Webmistress of all things saveable has grouped some of it on here: http://adbdesign.com/cwtf/william.html as part of her website for CWTF ( http://adbdesign.com/cwtf )......

CWTF is an extention of William, like an arm or a leg....that's where he really "lives".......he'll give every AIC crowd 110% while he's doing it, but this is all about HIS BAND more than anything else....
