Jerry & The Lost Tracks of Danzig

Back in 1996, Jerry recorded the guitar for a Glenn Danzig acoustic track entitled "Come to Silver." Danzig reportedly wrote this track for Johnny Cash but then decided to keep and record the song for himself. Sadly, "Come to Silver" never received a proper commercial release. But on May 29 that will change when evillive releases The Lost Tracks of Danzig, a 26-song collection of previously unreleased Danzig tracks. According to Blabbermouth.net, "Come to Silver" is "one of the CD's true treasures." For more details on this amazing collection of music, click here.

After the recording is released, all the people who hear it have the option of
wanting to see it performed live,or not. That's how it really is.That's all I can
write without hearing,yet....except that it also sounds like new fun.

I cannot wait to hear this album. I also heard through the grape vine that there my be some kind of blues album on the way from Jerry and Glen Danzing. That would be the best album ever.

Actually, the electric version of "Come To Silver" was on Danzig's Danzig5: blackacidevil album, Jerry on it, doing some kickass guitar fills and solos.  The song has an almost industrial feel, but slow and grinding.  The acoustic version on Lost Tracks is just as good, and maybe better, a certain creepy quality about it.
